Physical Damage Truck Insurance
Physical damage truck insurance, sometimes referred to as collision coverage,
pays to fix or replace damaged tractors and trailers. 1st Guard® has very
competitive physical damage options. We also offer low deductible policies so
our customers do not have to struggle with high out-of-pocket costs when claims
occur.
Available physical damage coverages listed below.
Extended Towing
While accidents can occur anywhere in the country you may prefer to have your vehicle
repaired at a shop closer to your home. Extended towing coverage pays to tow your
vehicle from the scene of a covered loss to any repair location of your choice within
2,000 miles. Extended towing coverage can be added to your physical damage policy.
Downtime
You can add downtime coverage to your physical damage policy to give you added
protection against lost income if you have a covered loss. Downtime coverage can help
you keep your truck payment and other bills current if a covered loss renders your
vehicle inoperable for an extended period of time.
Loan Gap
Sometimes trucks depreciate faster than truck loans. Loan gap coverage can help assure
that a total physical damage loss does not leave you owing your lienholder more than the
claim settlement value of your truck.
Emergency Expense Reimbursement
This coverage reimburses you for any extra lodging, transportation and telephone
expenses you might incur as a result of a covered physical damage loss. Add
emergency expense reimbursement coverage to your physical damage policy today.
Truck Rental Reimbursement
Having a physical damage loss doesn't mean you have to stop trucking. When you add
truck rental reimbursement coverage to your physical damage policy you can rent a
replacement vehicle and receive reimbursement for a large part of the rental cost.
Contents
This coverage extends your truck physical damage protection to scheduled personal items
(computers, tools, televisions, etc.) you keep in your truck.
Deductible Buy-Back
If your trucking company makes you contractually responsible for cargo or trailer damage
this coverage will come in handy. You can add it to your physical damage policy with a
limit of up to $10,000.
Tarps, Chains and Binders
An essential coverage for anyone who operates a flatbed trailer as these items are
frequently lost or stolen. When you add Tarps, Chains and Binders coverage to your
physical damage policy you will have important protection for these expensive components.

Non Trucking Liability Truck Insurance
Simply stated non trucking liability truck insurance provides a permanently leased owner operator
with a limited form of liability protection. Specifically it applies when a covered vehicle is
operated solely for personal and non-economic purposes. Non-trucking liability truck insurance
never applies when an owner operator pulls a loaded trailer, operates on behalf of a trucking
company or uses a vehicle for any revenue generating purpose like trip leasing. These types
of activities normally fall under the primary auto liability truck insurance provided by a
trucking company.
Occupational Accident Truck Insurance
Occupational Accident Truck Insurance provides owner operators with an affordable source of
indemnification for work accident injuries. This coverage offers important benefits for
Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Accident Medical and Accident Disability Income. It is
suitable and effective for owner-operators who do not fall under the requirements of worker's
compensation statutes.
Worker’s Compensation Insurance For Fleet Owners
Most states require fleet owners with employee drivers to carry workers
compensation insurance. This coverage option is available only to fleet drivers
participating on our select motor carrier sponsored occupational accident
programs. Please call to request an application.
Passenger Accident Insurance
Passenger accident insurance is for friends and family members who travel with an owner operator
and are injured during an accident. Passenger accident insurance offers affordable protection and
peace of mind for those times when someone else comes along for the ride.

Credit Card (automatic payment option #1)
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We also offer an automatic
payment plan where we bill your credit card once a month. This will eliminate deposit and
escrow requirements and in most cases lower your monthly premium. You may also make your
payment by credit card over the internet.
Direct Debit - ACH (automatic payment option #2)
This billing option allows you to set up your account to have your premium payment automatically
withdrawn from your checking or savings account. With direct debit you will never have to worry
about making premium payments while you are on the road and as with credit cards, in most cases,
this will lower your monthly premium.
Check
We accept personal checks, company checks, or money orders as payment on your account.
Comcheck
Comchecks are also accepted as payment.
EFS Checks
